Terms of service

All services offered by Treviaggio Italy Travel & Experiences ("Treviaggio"), including guided tours, consulting, transfers, translation, and accommodation guidance, are subject to these Terms & Conditions. By submitting a request or completing any reservation, the Client agrees to the following terms.


1. Definitions

  • Treviaggio: The company providing travel consultancy, guided tours, transfers, translation, and accommodation guidance.
  • Client: Any person or entity requesting services from Treviaggio.
  • Service: All professional services offered by Treviaggio.
  • Reservation: Confirmed only when Treviaggio's written approval, the issued invoice, and the 20% deposit payment are completed.

2. Reservation Confirmation

A reservation becomes valid only when all three steps below are completed:

  1. Written confirmation by Treviaggio via email,
  2. Invoice issued,
  3. Payment of the 20% deposit within 72 hours of the invoice date.

If any step is missing, the reservation is not confirmed.

3. Payment Policy

  • Deposit: 20% of the total service fee, payable within 72 hours of the invoice date.
  • Remaining balance: 80% of the fee must be paid no later than 72 hours before the service begins.
  • Payment method: Bank transfer (IBAN).

Treviaggio reserves the right not to begin any service until full payment has been received.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy (By the Client)

  • 15+ days before the service:
    Deposit fully refunded, except for Treviaggio’s actual expenses (tickets, vehicle reservations, commissions, etc.).
  • 14–7 days before:
    50% of the deposit is refunded.
  • Less than 7 days before / no-show:
    Deposit is non-refundable.

Tickets & Third-Party Costs

  • Tickets for Colosseum, Vatican Museums, Pompeii and other sites are strictly non-refundable.
  • Payments made to third-party suppliers cannot be refunded.

5. Cancellation or Changes by Treviaggio

Treviaggio may cancel or reschedule services due to:

  • Severe weather
  • Strikes or transport disruptions
  • Illness of guide/driver
  • Safety concerns
  • Decisions by authorities

The Client may choose between:

  • Full refund, or
  • Rescheduled or alternative service.

6. Guided Tours

Treviaggio is not responsible for:

  • Museum opening hours, closures, or crowd levels,
  • Delays caused by security checks or official regulations.

Clients showing inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive behavior may be removed from the tour without refund.

7. Accommodation Guidance

  • Treviaggio provides advisory and referral services only.
  • The accommodation contract is strictly between the Client and the property/host.

Treviaggio is not responsible for:

  • Cancellation policies,
  • Deposits,
  • Cleaning fees,
  • Overbooking,
  • Any property-related issues.

8. Transfer Services

  • Treviaggio collaborates with licensed transportation providers.
  • 45-minute free waiting time applies at airports.

After 45 minutes:

  • Additional charges apply and are calculated per day, based on agreements with the transportation provider.
  • These charges will be communicated to the Client.

Flight changes must be communicated promptly; otherwise, the service may be considered a no-show.

9. Translation / Interpreting Services

  • 15+ days before: Deposit fully refunded (minus expenses).
  • 14–7 days before: 50% of deposit refunded.
  • Less than 7 days / no-show: Deposit non-refundable.
  • Presentation materials must be provided in advance.
  • Audio/video recording requires Treviaggio’s written consent.
  • All interpreting services are subject to confidentiality.

10. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information,
  • Arriving on time,
  • Holding valid identification and travel documents,
  • Obtaining travel/medical insurance independently.

11. Limitation of Liability

Treviaggio is not liable for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings,
  • Delays or schedule changes,
  • Health issues or medical incidents,
  • Natural events or force majeure,
  • Errors or omissions by third-party providers,
  • Any other circumstances beyond its control.

12. Privacy & GDPR

Personal data is processed solely for the delivery of services and may be shared only with necessary third-party providers, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Italian Law.
The Court of Rome ("Tribunale di Roma") has exclusive jurisdiction.
